Vijay Kanan (bansuri flute), Doron Furman (oud), Prof. Dietrich Woehrlin (drums,
percussion), Danae Estrela(vocals), and Raimund Engelhardt (hammered dulcimer, tabla) embark together on this Yatra – a journey between tradition and modernity.
Musical flavors from Europe, India, the Middle East, and Africa melt into an authentic dialogue, creating an intense and contemporary soundscape. With traditional instruments, captivating melodies, and pulsating rhythms, Yatra reflects the rich cultural diversity of Berlin – not “world music,” but a living expression of the city’s modern multicultural spirit.
