The concert opens with a Carnatic vocal performance by Vidwan Manickam Yogeswaran, who brings five decades of concert experience to the stage. A disciple of the renowned musician and teacher “Sangita Kaanidhi” “Padmabhushan” Sri T. V. Gopalakrishnan, he carries forward a distinguished legacy of Carnatic music—celebrated for its rich melodies, intricate rhythms, and profound emotional expression.Pr

The evening continues with the Berlin premiere of Bharatanatyam by acclaimed young dancer and choreographer Pritam Das, a prominent disciple of renowned guru Rama Vaidyanathan. Known for his technical precision, agile footwork, and evocative abhinaya, Pritam brings a distinctive theatrical sensitivity to the classical dance tradition of South India. He will present Anurāgāvali – The Dance of Longing, a work that explores longing not as an absence, but as a sacred presence—one that shapes love, devotion, and becoming.
