Martin Lillich
An Accomplished Music Teacher Specializing in Electric Bass
Martin has been a dedicated music teacher at the Music Schools in Berlin since 1986, where he continues to inspire students with his exceptional teaching methods.
Extensive Experience and Global Impact
From 1995 to 2005, Martin thrived at the prestigious Hans Eisler Jazz Department in Berlin. Since 2003, he has led the renowned band Pompduck & Circumstance. His extensive experience also includes conducting jazz workshops both in Germany and internationally, drawing on his expertise from the renowned “Hanns Eisler” jazz department. Beyond teaching, Martin performs and leads workshops across Africa, contributing the continent’s vibrant musical scene.

Martin’s teaching method focuses on practical harmony and ear training, allowing students to understand music intuitively and creatively. His hands-on approach and real-world application foster a deep, instinctive grasp of music. Martin transforms lessons into joyful, collaborative experiences, moving beyond a rigid curriculum. He often says, “I love teaching because I learn something new with each lesson. It’s not only the students who learn.”
At the Global Music Academy, Martin offers lessons in double bass and electric bass.

Milad Zendehnam
A Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and sound artist whose work bridges the worlds of Persian tradition and contemporary jazz experimental music.
Rooted in improvisation and driven by curiosity, his sound blends elements of electro, jazz, and blues with the textures of Persian string instruments and modernproduction, focusing on the profound connections between music and our everyday lives, behaviors, and the cultural tapestry that surrounds us.
He studied traditional music and composition at Azad Art University of Tehran before earning a double major in Jazz Performance and Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Over the years, Milad has worked as a performer, educator, and producer. He taught at Azad Art University and Berklee City Music, and also served as Production Manager at Berklee College of Music.
His creative approach is both intuitive and conceptual, exploring how music, culture, and language weaves through everyday life.
Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the classroom, Milad’s work is grounded in connection, exploration, and a deep belief in the transformative power of sound.
