Susanne Köhler
Versatile Flute Teacher and Performer
Susanne Köhler brings a rich musical background to her role as a dedicated flute teacher. From 1990 to 2002, she taught at the “Freie Musikschule Hannover e.V.,” and continued her teaching journey at the Musikschule Wedemark e.V. until 2022. Since 2017, she has been a lecturer for flute and recorder at the Musikschule Simplay Berlin.
Passion for Jazz and Latin Jazz
With a passion for jazz and Latin jazz, Susanne expanded her musical horizons starting in 2000, notably performing with the Salsabigband Labiba from Hannover Laatzen. She co-founded the flute sextet “Flautomanía” in Hannover in 1996, which has performed extensively nationwide.
Versatile Performer
Susanne has showcased her talent in various settings, including concerts with organ, guitar, and piano, as well as chamber and orchestra performances. Since 2005, she has been an active member of the Salsabigband “Labiba,” with numerous performances, especially in outdoor venues during summertime.
At the Global Music Academy, Susanne offers flute lessons to both individual students and groups, typically in groups of two.
