Adrián, a distinguished guitarist and composer from the vibrant city of Mexico City, embarked on his musical journey at the age of 11 with classical guitar studies. Guided by esteemed mentors such as Rubén Joelson, he developed a strong foundation that set the stage for his future career.
Advanced Studies and Achievements
Expanding his expertise, Adrián pursued university studies in popular music with a focus on jazz guitar. His skills were further honed during a transformative master class in Austin, TX. Post-graduation, Adrián launched a successful jazz project, collaborating with fellow Mexican musicians and releasing two critically acclaimed albums.
Teaching and Repertoire
Adrián’s teaching repertoire spans classical guitar compositions by Tarrega, Fernando Sor, and Carulli, as well as Latin American folklore from Mexican, Brazilian, Venezuelan, Peruvian, Argentine, and Cuban traditions. Today, Adrián enchants audiences with solo and ensemble performances at prestigious jazz festivals and music venues across Mexico and Europe.
At the Global Music Academy, Adrián offers lessons in acoustic guitar, with a special emphasis on Latin jazz.
