Milad Zendehnam
A Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and sound artist whose work bridges the worlds of Persian tradition and contemporary jazz experimental music.
Rooted in improvisation and driven by curiosity, his sound blends elements of electro, jazz, and blues with the textures of Persian string instruments and modernproduction, focusing on the profound connections between music and our everyday lives, behaviors, and the cultural tapestry that surrounds us.
He studied traditional music and composition at Azad Art University of Tehran before earning a double major in Jazz Performance and Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Over the years, Milad has worked as a performer, educator, and producer. He taught at Azad Art University and Berklee City Music, and also served as Production Manager at Berklee College of Music.
His creative approach is both intuitive and conceptual, exploring how music, culture, and language weaves through everyday life.
Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the classroom, Milad’s work is grounded in connection, exploration, and a deep belief in the transformative power of sound.

Yaser Bayat
Composer and Music Teacher
Yaser Bayat, a distinguished composer, musician, and music teacher from Iran, holds a master’s degree from Tehran University of Fine Arts, where he ranked second among his peers. He is proficient in various Iranian musical instruments such as kamanche, setar, tanbur, santur, tombak, daf.
Teaching Experience
Bayat has extensive experience as a lecturer at Tehran University of Fine Arts and the University of Applied Sciences, as well as in various music schools. Under the guidance of renowned mentors including Mohammad Reza Lotfi, Dariush Tala-i, Dariush Pirniakan, Akbar Shekarchi, and Bahman Radjabi, Bayat has honed his expertise in ethnomusicology and Middle Eastern rhythm, particularly focusing on the music of different regions of Iran.
Scholarly Contributions
His scholarly contributions include studies on Luristani Kamanche techniques, Turkmen music, and Iranian music in theatrical performances. He is also an author, with notable works such as “Darband” and “Tombak and Chemeye Khorushane Rhythms,” enriching the literature on percussion and musical rhythms. Bayat has collaborated as a composer and musician on various cultural programs aired on public television and radio in Iran.
