Dear students and friends of the Global Music Academy,
We invite you to join us for our Open Day at the Global Music Academy.
The event will feature a mix of workshops and performances in music and dance from around the world. Each session lasts 30 minutes, is open to everyone, and no experience is required.
Families are warmly encouraged to join us as well. Snacks and drinks will be available.
As a small glimpse of what’s planned, we will have a Musical Initiation workshop for kids aged 3–5 at 12:30, as well as a workshop introducing brass instruments through fun musical games.Throughout the afternoon, you can also enjoy Balkan Music for Oud, both as a performance and workshop, along with an introduction to funk keys and a Bharatanatyam dance performance and workshop. Later in the day, a gamelan workshop will take place at 17:30. This is only part of the program, with more to discover on the day.
The event is donation-based to support the artists.
