Bridging Indian Classical Music and Global Audiences

Divyadhanush Rai, born and raised in Mangalore, India, grew up in a city known for its vibrant cultural scene, where music is integral to local traditions and festivals. In 2023, Rai moved to Germany to pursue a master’s degree in engineering management. Despite his academic focus, he remains deeply committed to Indian classical music, continuing to explore and expand his passion.

Musical Expertise and Education

Rai has a fervent love for Indian light and Hindustani classical music, particularly the Bansuri (Indian flute). He demonstrates proficiency across several instruments, including the flute, harmonium, keyboard, and tabla, showcasing his versatility and mastery. Rai is currently a dedicated student of Pandit Ravikiran Manipal for vocal training, which has deepened his understanding of Indian classical music. 

Musical Achievements and International Experience

Rai’s musical journey includes victories in various classical and light music competitions, reflecting his dedication and talent. Notably, he was part of a team led by a renowned Karnataka singer, performing in multiple shows across South India. His musical talents have also taken him beyond India’s borders. In Bahrain, he performed in music shows, engaging with a diverse audience through the universal language of music.

At the Global Music Academy, Divyadhanush offers lessons in Bansuri for all ages and different music levels.
